Apple this morning has released two supplementary updates for *OS 13.5 and is now available for compatible devices as an over-the-air update or via finder or iTunes. This update brings a minor security update to all devices, however does not address growing complaints of battery drain, iPadOS boot loops, and playback issues with MP4/MPEG-4 on iPhone and iPad.

Security Vulnerability Patch
Fixes issue where an application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges;
Breaks unc0ver jailbreak compatibility.
Last week the unc0ver jailbreak team released unc0ver 5.0.0 which was a successful kernel jailbreak for devices running iOS 13.5, which was released a fortnight ago. Described as an "important security update", Apple has revealed that the 13.5.1 update patches the unc0ver kernel exploit.
